CNC Lathe Operator – Long-Term Employment in Lahti, Finland

The employment contract will initially be made with Visio Päijät-Häme Oy, while the actual work will be performed at our client’s premises in Lahti.

Job Description

We are looking for a professional CNC lathe machinist for a machine shop in Lahti. The role involves versatile machining tasks and requires experience with multi-axis CNC lathes. For toolpath creation, Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM is used, and the machines are equipped with Okuma controls. If these systems are familiar to you, keep reading.

Your main responsibilities include: Sawing operations, Fixture and setup preparation, CNC programming, Machining and finishing work.

Work days are monday to friday (day job).

You Might Be the Right Person If You Have

To apply for this position, you should have:

• Previous experience with CNC lathes and the ability to program independently

• Good Finnish or English language skills – working languages are Finnish or English

• A strong work ethic – the job is independent and you are responsible for the quality of your work

• Technical drawing reading skills – ability to work based on drawings
